About me
Pianist, keyboardist, clarinetist, vocalist, soundesigner, arranger, orchestrator, music producer and soundtrack composer, graduated in BACHELOR DEGREE in Escola de Comunicações e Artes /USP (São Paulo) and MASTER DEGREE in Brazilian popular music from UNICAMP (Campinas).
I started my career when I was 13 years old in 1979, in the Conjunto de flutes Guiomar Novaes, conducted by Professor Sofia Helena de Oliveira, and in 1981 we received the APCA (São Paulo Association of Art Critics) award for “Best Erudite Instrumental Ensemble”.
I am creator and musical director of soundtracks for dance (Ballet da Cidade de São Paulo), theater (play “Salomé” by Cristiane Torloni), musicals (“Emoções Baratas” and “Mucho Corazon”) under the direction of José Possi Neto and films advertisements for TV and radio for 20 years.
I participated as an instrumentalist, arranger and assistant musical director in projects with Milton Nascimento (CD “Amigo”), Nana Vasconcelos (show “ABC Musical”), Toquinho (CD “I only have time to be happy”) and Jane Duboc (CD “ Movie Melodies”). He also participated in projects with João Bosco, Alcione, Ivan Lins, Edu Lobo, Ana Carolina, Luiza Possi, Fafá de Belem, Eduardo Dusek, Elizete Cardoso, Flávio Venturini, Paula Lima, Moraes Moreira, Daniela Mercury, Guilherme Arantes, Luis Melodia, Samuel Rosa, Roberto Menescal, Leila Pinheiro, Vanessa da Mata, Gilberto Gil, Paralamas do Sucesso, Frejat, Paulo Szot, Fernando Portari, Jane Duboc, Toninho Ferragutti, Renato Bras, Diogo Nogueira, Elba Ramalho, Geraldo Azevedo, Simoninha, Helga Nemetik, Toni Garrido, Luciana Mello, Péricles, Anna Setton, Lucy Alves, Roberta Campos, Mart'nalia, Roberta Sá Claudio Zoli, Criolo, Mariana Rios, Vanessa Jackson, Max de Castro, Zé Ricardo, Mano Brown, Di Ferrero, Tulipa Ruiz, Mariana Aydar, Fortuna, Arnaldo Antunes among others.
I am the resident arranger of the Heliópolis Symphony Orchestra, under the artistic direction of maestro Isaak Karabtchevsky and administered by the Baccarelli Institute.
As an arranger and orchestrator I've done work for the following Brazilian symphony orchestras and bands: Brasilia National Theater Symphony Orchestra, Recife Symphony Orchestra, São Paulo Jazz Symphony Orchestra, Santo André Symphony Orchestra, Tatuí Music Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, Arte Viva Orchestra of São Paulo, Heliópolis Symphony Orchestra (resident arranger), São Paulo Experimental Repertory Orchestra, Minas Gerais Symphony Orchestra, Jundiai Municipal Orchestra, Minas Geraes Opus Orchestra, University of Caxias do Sul Symphony Orchestra, Wind Orchestra of Caxias do Sul and Municipal Choir of Caxias do Sul.
I've been the arranger conductor of the singer Zizi Possi for over 30 years, and I've participated in the last 11 CD's of her career, including “Per Amore” and “Pra Inglês ver….e Ouvir”, receiving several awards and 3 nominations in the 1st Latin Grammy Awards, including the nomination for "Best MPB Album" in 2000 with the CD “Puro Prazer” - recorded in Los Angeles in 1999. I participated in the tour of the project “Tudo Se Transforma”, recorded in 2012, traveling all over Brazil.
I am the arranger conductor of the project “Minas em Mim 2015” with Jane Duboc and the project “Concerto para Voz e Piano” with Zizi Possi, traveling through Brazil.

Creator and developer of soundtrack database for national and foreign market and composer for original music for animations and games in partnership with Antonio Teoli at Andromeda Sound in Los Angeles, United States.
